In our tabla classes for beginners, students are introduced to the fundamentals of Indian percussion, including correct hand placement, basic bols, and posture. They will learn to play simple compositions in common taals such as teentaal and dadra, while building coordination, clarity, and speed. The curriculum also covers basic theory, the structure of taals, and the role of tabla in both solo and accompaniment settings.

They will learn simple kaidas, relas, and compositions in foundational taals.
They will practice improvisation, accompaniment techniques, and performance skills through workshops and live sessions.
Students will acquire a solid foundation in tabla playing, including technical precision and rhythmic understanding.

The course aims to instill discipline, creativity, and a deep appreciation for Indian rhythmic traditions, while preparing students for advanced levels and graded exams.
